A new opportunity is emerging for all youngsters with Tourettes. We are looking to build an archive of soundbites from todays young generation who have Tourettes. We want to hear your voice as it tells us your personal diaries of what it is like living with Tourettes, and your experiences at school or at home. We at Zillwood Films and 104 films are hoping for your audio diaries to be heard and then animated for an upcoming feature film by Brent Zillwood. Brent, who has appeared on Channel Fours 'The Undateables' understands that this is very misunderstood condition, and is looking for an honest interpretation of the condition. Below you can see a video where a similar animation technique has been used before in "Creature Comforts".
Our plan is to build momentum throughout the year for an even larger event, we would invite the young speakers in the audio diaries to attend and help discover their true potential. In the meantime we set out to work with Neuroscientists to help all people understand this mystery of tourettes and break the common misconception of "The swearing disease".
So if you would like to get involved please contact our team with your parent or guardians consent. This project is in early development so please start recording your audio diaries over the next few weeks and months. You can record via your computer, phone or even an old tape cassette recorder just make sure it's not too windy if outside.
